Derby Clontarf Academy thanks the Dr Steve Burroughs Foundation
Derby Clontarf Academy is thankful for the recent, generous donation of Briggs and Stratton landscaping equipment. The boys put the equipment to great use. They took turns cleaning up each other’s yards as well as those of people in the community. The Academy plans to expand this after-school program throughout the Derby township. This will to engage and retain the boys at school by building a sense of community and camaraderie in the Academy.
Shire of Derby/ West Kimberley Community Expo
Marra Worra Worra was grateful to the Dr Steve Burroughs Foundation for the donation of Bonds goods for community members. The Shire of Derby/ West Kimberly held a very successful Expo during which the clothing was distributed to communities. The undies & socks were a hit with the kids and the bras were greatly appreciated by the ladies.

Mogo Aboriginal Land Council residents are thankful for their boat.
The Dr Steve Burroughs Foundation provided a boat and trailer to the Mogo Aboriginal Land Council. A member of their community, Aunty Dot had a stroke and is still recovering. She would love to go fishing with her partner of many years, Lester. Thanks to the gift from the Foundation, the Mogo Aboriginal Land Council was able to give her the boat. Aunty Dot now looks forward to having a feed of fish and getting plenty of sunshine. She and Lester send their thanks.
